At greyseafood.com we purchase many origins and colors of Colossal Shrimp for our diverse wholesale trade. We sell thousands of pounds of shrimp a year to our restaurants, fish markets, institutions, and food store chains.

At greyseafood.com we buy all of our Colossal Shrimp from only (HACCP) certified packers and importers. Our wholesale seafood company has been in business for over 22 years and has made many contacts with top quality Shrimp packers. We at greyseafood.com will always sell our customers the best quality and valued Shrimp that is most affordable and applicable to our clients needs.

For Colossal Shrimp greyseafood uses Shrimp that will maintain a count of under 8 Shrimp to a pound “U-8” (2 oz. avg). The Shrimp will be headless and the shell will be intact.

The Colossal Shrimp that are imported are inspected at the packing facility. The Shrimp are imported into the United States and also inspected by our FDA. At this point the Shrimp are then distributed throughout the country to brokers, traders, wholesalers and then retailers. When available and of acceptable quality greyseafood.com will also purchase domestic Colossal Shrimp. Our domestic Shrimp are caught and packaged by the same fleet; they are then immediately shipped to us by refrigerated trucks.

Fish and Seafood require expert handling to maintain the freshness of the product. We use Federal Express® or UPS® as our primary shipping company as their quality and experience are second to none.
All orders are shipped SIGNATURE RELEASE – NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED.
This means that if no one is there to receive the order from FedEx® or UPS®, the driver will leave the order at the door. This signifies acceptance of the order (the same as a signature). You will be responsible for payment of the order. We highly recommend that someone is there within the designated timeframe to accept delivery of the order and promptly refrigerate it. We recommend the use of the FedEx® or UPS® tracking number (we will e-mail you the tracking number when the order is shipped), to monitor the delivery of your order.

If this is a gift, please be sure to alert the recipient that something perishable is coming via FedEx® or UPS® and to try and make arrangements to accept delivery and immediately refrigerate it upon receipt!

We must therefore follow a schedule which will insure that your order is received in a timely manner and in excellent condition.

We will ship your package via UPS, FedEx, Ground Airmax, unless your location is west coast in which case we will automatically ship Express for a 2 to 3 day Transit. Your package will take 1 to 3 days to arrive to you once it is shipped. We do not ship across weekends because shipping time extends past the effectiveness of dry ice.

Orders placed on Monday will ship same day if placed before 8:00 AM ET.
Orders placed on Tuesday thru Wednesday will ship same day if placed before 12pm ET.
Orders placed after 12pm ET Tuesday will be shipped the following day.
Orders placed on Wednesday after 12pm thru Sunday will ship Monday, with the following exception:
Orders placed on Wednesday thru Thursday before 12pm within (NC, SC & VA only) will ship same day, since delivery takes one day.
We are able to ship to PO boxes or FPO or APO addresses. we are also able to ship to continental US addresses.
