Fish and Seafood require expert handling to maintain the freshness of the product. We use Federal Express® or UPS® as our primary shipping company as their quality and experience are second to none.
All orders are shipped SIGNATURE RELEASE – NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED.
This means that if no one is there to receive the order from FedEx® or UPS®, the driver will leave the order at the door. This signifies acceptance of the order (the same as a signature). You will be responsible for payment of the order. We highly recommend that someone is there within the designated timeframe to accept delivery of the order and promptly refrigerate it. We recommend the use of the FedEx® or UPS® tracking number (we will e-mail you the tracking number when the order is shipped), to monitor the delivery of your order.
If this is a gift, please be sure to alert the recipient that something perishable is coming via FedEx® or UPS® and to try and make arrangements to accept delivery and immediately refrigerate it upon receipt!

We will ship your package via UPS, FedEx, Ground Airmax, unless your location is west coast in which case we will automatically ship Express for a 2 to 3 day Transit. Your package will take 1 to 3 days to arrive to you once it is shipped. We do not ship across weekends because shipping time extends past the effectiveness of dry ice.
Orders placed on Monday will ship same day if placed before 8:00 AM ET.
Orders placed on Tuesday thru Wednesday will ship same day if placed before 12pm ET.
Orders placed after 12pm ET Tuesday will be shipped the following day.
Orders placed on Wednesday after 12pm thru Sunday will ship Monday, with the following exception:
Orders placed on Wednesday thru Thursday before 12pm within (NC, SC & VA only) will ship same day, since delivery takes one day.

Description
Our scallops are harvested in the mid-Atlantic harvest area off the coast of New England. Our scallops are dry-packed scallops, meaning they are peeled and then frozen “raw” (not soaked in a water and preservative solution before freezing). This ensures that you will only receive pure, natural, wild scallops. They are large (less than 15 per pound) and contain 4 scallops per package, so each serving package contains over 5 ounces. Enjoy the rich flavor of wild scallops by searing them or simply cooking them so that their natural juices caramelize on the surface. Be sure to check out one of our scallop recipes below. Wild scallops are a low-calorie source of protein.
